In most cases QuickMD visits can get reimbursed with many major insurances, and all you pay is the co-pay. Just forward the encounter report (which contains all information needed for reimbursement) to your insurer.

We refill the most common medications, and can provide you with new prescriptions if medically warranted and safe. However we are unable to prescribe controlled substances (except Subox./Bupe for opioid addiction), high-risk medications like cancer medications and others.

Note: The health of our patient is the most important goal for us, and we therefore only prescribe medications if they are indicated (e.g. antibiotics for the common cold or viral bronchitis might cause you harm).

Advances in telemedicine technology and video quality have made remote on-demand care a great and affordable alternative to in-person clinic visits, without the high costs and long wait times for appointments or in waiting rooms. Many conditions can be diagnosed and treated remotely with doctor-guided exams that can be done over video. However, sometimes an in-person visit is necessary, and if we cannot help you, you will receive a full refund. See also services that we cannot provide.

Yes. We partnered with LabCorp and if your doctor determines that you may need blood/urine/STD, we will send an electronic order to one of the more than 2000 ‘LabCorp’ locations, whichever is closest to you.

Yes. Our platform is encrypted and fully HIPAA-compliant and we never sell your information to third parties for profit. Just like an in-person doctor visit, what you share with our physicians is protected and private. You can do both. When the waiting room is not crowded you can enter the virtual waiting room and see a doctor right away (on-demand) for urgent care visits. During peak times we do not want to have you wait, and you can make an appointment for the next available time–or any time that fits you. Tele-MAT patients with opioid use disorder will always need an appointment.
